Motorcyclist, 50s, seriously injured in Newton Abbot crash
The rider from Torquay was involved in the incident last week (5 June)
A motorcyclist in his 50s from Torquay suffered life-changing injuries following a collision in Newton Abbot.
The incident occurred at around 4.40pm on 5th June on Torquay Road, at the junction with Forde Park.
It involved a yellow Honda motorcycle and a grey Kia Sportage.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene.
The injured motorcyclist was airlifted to Derriford Hospital.
Road closures were in place for approximately four-and-a-half hours while officers examined the site and coordinated vehicle recovery efforts.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or possesses relevant dashcam footage to assist in the ongoing investigation.
