Man charged with murder in Plymouth
Mark Carpenter set to appear in court accused of killing 28-year-old
A man has been charged in connection with the murder investigation concerning the death of Harry Jackson in Plymouth.
Mark Carpenter, a 57-year-old from Embankment Road, Plymouth, faces charges following an incident reported to Devon & Cornwall Police.
Emergency services responded to reports of a seriously injured man at a residence on Embankment Road at approximately 8:20 pm on Monday, 4th May.
Despite paramedics' efforts, Harry Jackson, aged 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Carpenter is currently in custody and scheduled to appear at Plymouth Magistrates’ Court today, Friday, 8th May.
Detective Inspector Jo Rotchell from the Major Crime Investigation Team commented on the incident: “This is a tragic incident in which a person has lost their life. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Harry at this incredibly difficult time. We will continue to support those affected.”
