12-year-old girl suffers face and arm injuries following serious assault in Plymouth

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Plymouth.

A 12-year-old girl was attacked in Leigham Park on Saturday 13 March by two other girls.

She suffered injuries to her arm and face.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said:

"Police are investigating reports of a serious assault in Leigham Park, Plymouth, which is believed to have taken place on Saturday 13 March, at around 2.30pm.

"The victim, a girl, aged 12, was reported to have been assaulted by two girls and suffered injuries to her arm and face.

"Officers are keen to speak to a woman who was walking a medium-sized white dog, who escorted the victim back to her home but left without leaving any contact details."
