Woman dies in hospital after nine-year-old girl found dead in Islip
Police say no one else is being sought and ask for privacy for all involved.
A woman has died in hospital following the death of a nine-year-old girl in the Oxfordshire village of Islip.
The 49-year-old woman passed away yesterday (20 November). Her next of kin have been informed and the coroner has been notified.
Police say their investigation into the girl’s death at a home in Middle Street on 21 October is continuing, and officers are supporting her family during what they describe as an extremely difficult time.
Thames Valley Police have confirmed they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident, and all those involved have asked for privacy.
