Man arrested after West Oxfordshire crash
He's been released on bail as police investigate
A 20-year-old man has been arrested after a serious collision in West Oxfordshire left four people needing hospital treatment.
Police say they incident happened on Saturday (20th September) at the crossroads of the A361 and the B4437.
Both drivers and a passenger from each car were taken to hospital after.
Three have since been discharged but one driver remains in hospital.
An Oxfordshire police spokesperson said: "At around 1.45pm on Saturday, a collision occurred involving a blue Hyundai i30 and a grey Mini Countryman at the crossroads of the A361 and the B4437 between Chipping Norton, Burford and Charlbury.
"A 20-year-old man from Witney has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving a motor vehicle with a concentration of a specified controlled drug above a specified limit.
"He has been released on bail while our enquiries continue."
Oxfordshire police are urging anyone who was in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward, quoting reference number 43250481645.
