Two charged with weapons offences in Banbury

Two men have been charged with weapons offences in Banbury following incidents at the Michaelmas Fair.
Moheez Hussain, aged 19, of Chatsworth Drive, was charged yesterday evening (18October) with one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
Ammar Hussain, aged 19, of The Fairway, was charged with one count of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place and one count of threatening a person with a blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.
The charges are in relation to incidents at the Banbury Michaelmas Fair on Friday evening.
Moheez and Ammar Hussain remain in custody and will appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday (20 October).
