Teenagers attacked in Henley nightclub

A man and a woman in their late teens were injured when glasses were smashed in their faces at Magoos nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning

Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after an assault inside a Henley nightclub.

It happened at around 1.50am on Saturday (28 June) at Magoos, when three men approached a man and a woman on the dancefloor. The offenders then smashed glasses in the victims’ faces before leaving.

Both victims, who are in their late teens, were taken to hospital with facial injuries. They have since been discharged.

Thames Valley Police said the suspects are all white men with dark hair, believed to be in their early twenties. One was wearing a dark t-shirt, a short-sleeved jacket, jeans and trainers. Another wore a white shirt, grey shorts, and trainers with a cross-body bag. The third was dressed in a white t-shirt, grey shorts and trainers.

Specialist investigator Pippa Sharman said: “I am appealing to anyone who was on the dancefloor of Magoos at around 1.50am on Saturday and witnessed this incident, or the moments leading up to it, to please come forward to talk to us.”
