Police investigating a suspected grievous bodily harm offence in Oxford are appealing for help in tracing a boy they wish to speak with.

The Thames Valley force said Francis Connors, 16, may have crucial information in connection with the incident in Cornmarket Street at around 5.30pm on 17 March this year.

A delivery worker was pulled from his bike and fell to the floor, sustaining a broken hip.

Investigating officer PC Edward Lee said: “We have been making every effort to trace Francis, who we need to speak to in connection with this investigation.

“Francis also has links to Weston Turville, Buckinghamshire.

“The victim suffered a serious hip injury, leaving him unable to work and causing significant financial strain on his family.

“We urge anyone who knows Francis’ whereabouts to contact us immediately and also appeal directly to Francis to attend your nearest police station.”
