A woman has been charged for wasting police time, following an assault in south Oxfordshire.

Susan Taylor, aged 56, of High Street, Lambourn, has been charged with one count of causing wasteful employment of police.

The charge relates to an investigation into a reported attempted kidnap and assault on Wednesday 19 March on the B4001, just past the junction with Hollborn Hill, in Oxfordshire.

Taylor is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 12 August.
