Two more arrests made in Oxford shooting investigation
A 19-year-old man was shot and sustained severe injuries to his arm in Denny Gardens last Friday
Police have arrested two more people as part of an investigation into a shooting in Oxford.
A 24-year-old man from Oxford was taken into custody yesterday (23rd December) on suspicion of conspiracy to possess firearms with intent to endanger life.
A 17-year-old girl, also from Oxford, was arrested for allegedly assisting an offender.
Both have been released on conditional police bail as investigations continue.
This follows the earlier arrests of a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, also from Oxford, who were detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
They too have been released on conditional bail.
Details of the incident
The arrests are connected to an incident that happened between midday and 5pm on 19th December in Denny Gardens, Oxford.
A 19-year-old man was shot and sustained severe injuries to his arm, though they were not life-threatening.
The victim received hospital treatment and has since been discharged.

Lead investigator Detective Inspector George Atkinson said the investigation remains a top priority, with progress being made.
“We are making very good progress in this investigation and have now made four arrests.
“We are continuing to develop new leads and intelligence, and are treating this investigation as a top priority.
