Man requires hospital treatment after being punched in Didcot
The incident happened on Wednesday
A man in his fifties suffered a serious head injury after being punched outside The Royal Oak pub on Park Road.
The incident occurred at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, it is is believed he will require further treatment.
A 33-year-old from Didcot has since been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and released on police bail until 10 May.
Investigating officer PC Samantha Smith said:
“I am appealing for any witnesses to this assault to please get in touch to help our investigation.
“We have made an arrest but I understand there were multiple witnesses to this assault, some of whom may have even filmed it."
