Man in his forties seriously hurt after knife fight in Kidlington

A man in his forties is recovering in hospital following a knife fight that happened on Cherwell Avenue, Kidlington, on Sunday evening.

Two men, aged 24 and 52, have been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident.

A report of two males fighting with knives was made shortly before 9pm.

The victim was then found with several stab injuries on Oxford Road just after 10pm.

He remains in hospital and is considered to be in a stable condition.

Police have assured that there is no risk to the wider public, as they believe all those involved in the altercation are known to each other.
