Grove man pleads guilty to kidnap, rape, and sexual assault
He'll be sentenced at a later date
Najeebullah Arab, a 39-year-old from Grove, has pleaded guilty to a series of sexual offences following an investigation by the Major Crime Unit.
Arab admitted to charges including kidnap, rape, and two counts of sexual assault during a hearing at Oxford Crown Court on 12th March.
On 21st January, Arab approached a woman in her late twenties in Grove and sexually assaulted her.
Later, on 27th January, he assaulted a woman in her late teens on Grove Road and subsequently raped her in an area behind Mably Way.
Arab was arrested on 30th January and charged on 1st February.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart May praised the victims for their courage in coming forward, emphasizing Thames Valley Police's commitment to investigating sexual offences and supporting victims.
DCI May highlighted the compelling evidence gathered, which led to Arab's guilty plea.
Arab's sentencing is pending a date set by the court.
