Four injured after collision in Oxford

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash on the A40 westbound near the Astral Barrel Roundabout, Oxford.

The collision happened at around 4.40pm yesterday, and involved a red Honda CRV and a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

According to Thames Valley Police, four people travelling in the vehicles sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment in hospital.

No arrests have been made at this stage of the investigation.

Investigating officer PC Craig Ridgley, from the Roads Policing Unit, has urged anyone with information about the crash to come forward.

“I would ask that anyone who was in or near the area in which this collision took place, to get in touch with us if you saw anything or have any information.

“If any motorists in the area that have dash cam footage, please check if it has captured anything as it could help our investigation.
