Firefighters have been working since the early hours of this morning to manage a fire that broke out in a large unoccupied building in Chesterton, near Bicester.
Crews were called just before 01:30 and arrived to find a developed fire on the first floor and in the roof of the property.
Teams from Bicester, Kidlington, Rewley Road, Deddington, and Woodstock attended the scene to begin tackling the flames.
Specialist vehicles and equipment were brought in from stations across the area to assist, including a command unit from Slade Park, a water carrier from Wheatley, an incident support unit and welfare unit from Eynsham, and a hydraulic platform from Rewley Road.
Efforts to establish water supplies and tackle the fire successfully contained the blaze to less than 50% of the building, leaving a significant portion of the property unscathed.
Relief crews from further stations have also supported the response as teams work throughout the day.
Thames Valley Police provided aerial thermal imaging drone support to assist with managing the incident.
No one was injured or involved in the fire, and crews remain on site to resolve the situation.
