Eight charged after major Oxfordshire drug raids following police operation
Around 150 officers took part in coordinated warrants across the county
Eight people, seven men and one woman, have been charged with drug-related offences in Oxford following a large-scale police operation led by the Serious and Organised Crime Unit.
The action involved approximately 150 officers executing warrants at multiple properties across Oxfordshire, where Class A drugs including cocaine and heroin, as well as Class B cannabis, were recovered.
Those charged include Zain Riasat (30) of Castle Street, Bicester; Mohammad Ali (25) of Flaxfield Road, Oxford; Ari Shaho (26) of Gladstone Road, Oxford; and Abdullah Mohammad (30) of Abingdon Road, Oxford.
Each faces two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin) and one count relating to cannabis supply conspiracy.
Darren Holden (38) of Highworth Place, Witney, and Jamie Lamont-Holden (20) of Girdlestone Road, Headington, have both been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis.
Rafaqat Hussain (48) of Rose Hill, Oxford, is charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs alongside a separate Class B charge, while Nicola Ford (58) of Clements Street, Oxford, faces one Class A conspiracy charge and one related to Class B drugs.
All eight individuals were remanded in custody and are due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today (24 June).
The investigation remains ongoing.
