Driver arrested after serious single-vehicle crash near Banbury
Police renew warning over drink-driving after early-morning collision
Police attended a serious single-vehicle collision near Banbury in the early hours of this yesterday morning.
Police say the car’s two occupants were on their way home from a night out when the crash happened. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
Despite the severity of the collision, both occupants escaped with only minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
Officers have once again urged drivers to think twice before getting behind the wheel after drinking, reminding people to plan a safe way home and avoid taking unnecessary risks on the roads.
