CCTV released after jewellery theft

It happened last weekend at Kidlington

Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a car in connection with a burglary in Kidlington.

At approximately 7.28pm on Saturday night, March 22nd, on Calves Close, three offenders pulled up to a property in a dark blue hatchback car, and climbed over the garden wall before forcing entry.

The offenders stole several pieces of 22-carat Asian gold jewellery including heirloom pieces and a safe, and then fled the property in the same vehicle.

No one was injured.

Both offenders are described as men, aged in their twenties, under 6ft tall and of a medium build.

They were seen to be wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top and bottoms with a white trim, with a dark blue/black beanie hat. One of the offenders had an unkempt beard.

They were both seen fleeing the property with orange bags and a white safe.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Keely Pringle, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the car in the photo as they may have vital information to assist our enquiries.

“If anyone witnessed any suspicious activity or the burglary itself to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police."
