Appeal for witnesses to attack in Bicester
A man in his 60s suffered a serious head injury

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which left a man seriously injured in Bicester.
The victim, in his 60s, was attacked in an alleyway between the taxi rank and main car park on Market Square between 12.40am and 2.15am on 16 February.
He needed hospital treatment for a serious head injury and has since been discharged, but is believed to require further treatment.
A 48-year-old man from Bicester was arrested on suspicion of wounding without intent and has been released on police bail until 5 May.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Shahed Ali said: “I understand that this may be concerning for the community but we believe that the victim and offender were known to each other.
“I am appealing for any witnesses to this assault to please get in touch to help our investigation.
“We have made an arrest but would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed this assault. If you have any footage of this incident, you can upload it via our online digital portal.
