Appeal following fatal road traffic collision in Didcot
A 90-year-old male driver died at the scene
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in Didcot.
It happened at around 1:30pm yesterday (3 February) when a 90-year-old man driving a red Ford Focus collided with a fence on park road when it was travelling along Queensway in Didcot.
The driver died at the scene, whilst the passenger of the Ford is uninjured.
No arrests have been made.
Investigating officer, Sergeant Craig Perry, of the Roads Policing Unit, said:
“First and foremost, my thoughts are with the family of the man who has sadly died following this road traffic collision. We are supporting his family at this extremely upsetting time.
“I am appealing for anybody who was in the area at around the time of this collision to please contact us if you witnessed anything that could assist the investigation.
“I would also ask anybody who was driving in this area to check their dash-cams and get in touch if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.”
