Blues move 12 points clear at the top of the Irish Premiership

Irish Premiership leaders Linfield have extended their lead at the top of the table after a 3-0 win over Carrick Rangers.

It means the Blues are now 12 points clear of second placed Dungannon Swifts.

Elsewhere in Saturday's afternoon kick offs: Crusaders were hammered 5-1 by Dungannon Swifts mad Loughgall lost out to Portadown 1-nil.

The matches between Ballymena and Glentoran and Glenavon's home tie with Coleraine were postponed due to frozen pitches after inspections.

It follows a week of sub-zero temperatures across Northern Ireland.
