Bangor: Police no longer searching for anyone in connection with attempted murder probe
Police say they are no longer searching for anyone in connection with their investigation into the attempted murder of two people in Bangor on Christmas Eve.
It follows the formal identification of a man found dead in Bangor on Saturday; 54 year old Jonathan Baker.
The man and woman who were seriously injured in the stabbing incident at a house in the Chippendale Avenue area on Christmas Eve have both since been discharged from hospital.
A PSNI statement today said, "The Police Service of Northern Ireland has confirmed that the deceased man found in Bangor on Saturday, 27th December has been formally identified."
"He is today named as Jonathan Baker, who was 54 years old."
"Detectives are not seeking anyone else in connection with their ongoing investigation into the attempted murder of two people in Bangor on Wednesday 24th December. "
"Anyone with information should contact officers on 101. The reference number to quote is 914 of 24/12/25."
