Police investigating after woman threw hot drink in Daventry parking row
Two women, one without any children, got into an argument over a parent-and-child parking space in Aldi last month
Northamptonshire Police are looking for witnesses after an assault in the Aldi car park at Abbey Retail Park, South Way, Daventry, on 8th December.
Two women got into an argument over a parent-and-child parking space, between 1.10pm and 1.15pm.
During the dispute, one of the women, who was not accompanied by any children, threw a hot drink at the other woman, who had her two children with her.
The suspect then reversed her car aggressively at speed, stopping just inches away from the other woman’s vehicle.
She is described as a white woman in her late 60s, about 5ft 4in tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair in a bob-style cut which had a red tinge.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to get in touch.
