Woman assaulted on Northampton bus
Police seek information following spitting incident
Police are seeking information from the public after a woman was assaulted on a bus in Northampton.
The incident occurred on the Number 5 Stagecoach bus shortly after it left Northampton Bus Station, between 6.10pm and 6.20pm on Tuesday, 28th July.
A male passenger spat at the woman, who was seated towards the rear of the bus.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5ft 9in tall, with a thin build, grey beard, and blue eyes.
He was wearing a green hooded jumper, grey joggers, and trainers.
Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was present on the bus at the time and saw what happened.
