Witnesses sought after Northampton e-scooter collision

Witnesses are being sought after the rider of an electric scooter sustained injuries following a road traffic collision at the junction of The Drive and Tudor Road, Northampton.

The incident occurred between 5pm and 5.30pm on Monday, December 30th, when the rider – a man in his 30s – collided with a car, causing him to sustain injuries which included a punctured lung.

The driver of the car – which is believed to be a blue Vauxhall Corsa - failed to stop at the scene and officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or captured it on dash-cam footage, to please get in touch.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
