Northamptonshire Police launch appeal after two teenage girls attacked in separate incidents
One girl was punched in the face by two boys wearing face coverings in Earls Barton
Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses following two separate assaults on teenage girls in Earls Barton and Higham Ferrers.
The Earls Barton incident occurred on 28th January between 6.50pm and 7.10pm at the Earls Barton Rec, off Harrowick Lane.
A teenage girl was punched in the face by two boys wearing face coverings, who then fled in the direction of the Co-op.
Two days later, in Higham Ferrers, a teenage girl was attacked by a group at Saffron Road Recreation Ground.
This occurred between 4pm and 6pm.
Witnesses reported the suspects as a white girl, aged 14-15, with a slim build and long straight brown hair, accompanied by two white boys of the same age.
One boy was roughly 5ft 6in, skinny with short brown or black hair, while the other had a larger build, standing at 5ft 6in, with blonde curly hair.
Both boys were wearing dark-coloured clothing.
