Two charged after Northampton stabbing incident as police appeal to trace key witnesses
Detectives continue investigation into violent disorder in Kings Heath and seek information from two Northampton men
Police investigating a serious disorder incident in Northampton have charged two individuals and arrested a third following reports of multiple stabbings.
Emergency services were called to East Oval in the Kings Heath area at approximately 8.35pm on Friday, June 5, after reports that several people had suffered stab wounds during a violent disturbance.
Following an investigation, officers charged 18-year-old Kenny Mabuto, from Ladywood in Birmingham, along with a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons because of his age.
A second 17-year-old male has also been arrested as part of the inquiry and remains under investigation.
As detectives continue their enquiries, they have released images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident. Officers believe the pair may have information that could assist the ongoing investigation.
The men have been identified as Morgan Pilsbury, 20, and Marshal Gearing, 21, both from Northampton.
Police are urging both men to come forward and contact investigators as soon as possible.
