Tommy Boom murder trial begins at Northampton Crown Court

The 30 year old father was fatally stabbed in a park in the town in July 2024.

The trial of two men accused of the murder of a father in a Northampton Park has begun this week.

The pair stand trial over the fatal stabbing of Tommy Boom on July 18th 2024.

3\0 year old Tommy Boom died in Millers Meadow - also known as Semilong Park in Northampton.

In a statement at the time of his death, his family paid tribute to him, describing him as a “loveable” character with a “heart of gold”.

Daniel Larman, who is 21, and Kieran Okocha-Sleight, also 21, both of no fixed address, both stand accused of his murder at Northampton Crown Court.

Larman is also charged with one count of possession of a bladed article.

The pair have been in custody since their arrests last summer.

Both deny the charges.

The trial is set the last between two and three weeks.
