Three people have been remanded in custody after being charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Northampton, with the injured 17-year-old still in hospital.
Three people have been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Northampton.
On Monday, 19 May, a 17-year-old boy was attacked on Abington Street. He sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital.
Today (Thursday, 22 May), three individuals appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. They were remanded in custody.
The accused are Hamza Zaki Sharif, 23, of Simons Walk, Northampton, and two boys aged 17 and 16 from Northampton, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Their next court hearing is scheduled for 3 July at Northampton Crown Court.
