Teen due in court over knife offences in Northamptonshire
Two other teenagers were stabbed at Kings Heath on Friday night
A 17-year-old boy charged with multiple offences following an incident involving knife injuries is set to appear in Northampton Magistrates’ Court today.
The teenager is facing charges of wounding with intent, violent disorder, and possession of a bladed article after the altercation took place last Friday night, 5th June, in East Oval, Kings Heath.
The incident resulted in two teenagers aged 17 and 18 sustaining knife injuries.
They were taken to hospital, and while the 17-year-old has been treated and released, the 18-year-old remains in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries.
Another reported casualty, a 20-year-old man, is believed to have sustained a minor injury but left the scene before the police arrived.
Detectives from Northamptonshire Police are still urging witnesses to come forward with any information that might aid their investigation into the events of that night.
