A 15-year-old boy from Northamptonshire has been charged with multiple sexual offences against eight girls, including one aged 10.

Appearing at Wellingborough Youth Court, the boy is accused of rape and sexual assault for alleged incidents from 2023 to 2025.

He has been charged with 22 offences, including sexually assaulting a female, assaulting girls under 13, and rape charges.

The youth, sitting at the back of the courtroom, was accompanied by his mother and did not enter any pleas during the hearing.

District Judge Amar Mehta deemed the case too serious for the youth court, sending it to Northampton Crown Court.

The teenager is scheduled for a hearing at the Crown Court on 18th August.

He was granted conditional bail with instructions not to contact alleged victims, have unsupervised contact with females under 16, and engage with the Northamptonshire Youth Justice Service.
