His trial is scheduled for 28th January, where he also faces additional charges relating to driving after the refusal or revocation of a licence on account of a disability and driving without third-party insurance.
Other cases include a 32-year-old man from Corby fined £644 and banned from driving for 17 months after being caught in Geddington Road with an alcohol reading more than double the legal limit.
A 26-year-old man from Northampton was disqualified for 14 months and received a community order after being found over the limit at St James Retail Park.
