Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in Rectory Road, Rushden, leaving him unconscious.

The incident occurred on Thursday, 8th January 2026, between 3pm and 3.30pm, when a 14-year-old boy was attacked by another teenage boy of a similar age near a set of traffic lights.

The location, next to traffic lights where cars would have been stationery, may mean witnesses or dash-cam footage could provide vital information about what happened.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the incident or may have recorded footage that could help the investigation.
