Roving Healthcare Unit offers vaccines without appointments

The Roving Healthcare Unit is set to visit various locations across Northamptonshire, offering free NHS vaccines to eligible individuals throughout August.

Eligibility inquiries can be resolved on-site by the staff, who have access to GP patient records, meaning no prior appointment is necessary for attendees.

The unit provides a variety of vaccines that are generally available through GP services, except for the new MenB vaccine for young adults, which is currently unavailable from this service.

Key Locations and Dates

The unit will be stationed at several events and parks as follows:

15th August: Balloon Festival, Northampton Racecourse, NN2 6JF, from midday to 6pm

19th August: Spencer Park, Rushden, NN10 6UL, from midday to 4pm

21st August: Iron Pit Family Fun Day, Holiday Inn, Geddington Rd, NN18 8ET, from midday to 4pm

22nd August: Northants Country Show, Deene Park, Corby, NN17 3EW, from 10am to 5pm

26th August: North Park, Kettering, NN16 JT, from midday to 4pm

29th August: Corby Fire Station, NN1 5DT, from 10am to 4pm
