Police issue update on Northampton murder investigation
Warrants executed as detectives seek information
Police have provided an update on the investigation into the murder of a teenage boy in Northampton following recent activity in the case.
Detectives executed warrants at three properties in the Weedon Road area of Northampton on 10th July as part of ongoing enquiries into the murder of a 16-year-old boy on Adnitt Road, Abington, Northampton, on 7th July.
Detective Chief Inspector Ryan Catling, the Senior Investigating Officer, noted that no arrests were made during these warrants. However, a 21-year-old man arrested on 9th July remains in custody on suspicion of murder.
The investigation is progressing swiftly with multiple lines of inquiry being pursued.
Police are keen to hear from anyone with potential information or camera footage that may aid their efforts.
Residents are encouraged to speak with the neighbourhood policing team, who will be active in the area over the weekend, should they have any concerns.

Three individuals—a 19-year-old man, a 56-year-old man, and a 51-year-old woman—arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
