Police are appealing for information following two suspicious incidents involving a man in Burton Latimer.

The first incident occurred on 11th November between 3:40pm and 4pm in an alleyway next to Sainsbury’s on High Street, where a man behaved bizarrely towards a schoolgirl.

The second took place on 25th November at the recreational ground near Victoria Street, also between 3:40pm and 4pm.

In this instance, the same man’s actions caused two schoolgirls to run away in fear.

No physical contact occurred during either incident, police confirmed.

The suspect is described as a white man aged between 35 and 40, of slim build, approximately 5ft 8in tall, and with a short beard.

During the first incident, he was reportedly wearing a dark blue baseball cap, a dark-coloured sleeveless body warmer, and grey tracksuit bottoms.

In the second incident, he was described as wearing a dark blue baseball cap, a white t-shirt, a sleeveless body warmer, and dark-coloured chinos.

Anyone who witnessed either incident or has information that could assist with the investigation is urged to contact local police.
