Person threatened with a knife at Northampton playground

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a person was threatened with a knife during an incident at a playground in Northampton.

The altercation, which included racial abuse, happened at the Racecourse playground between 6:15pm and 7:30pm on Sunday (19 July) following a dispute over the use of a swing.

Officers believe the playground would have been busy at that time, and they are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the event or might have inadvertently recorded it on their mobile phones.
