Paramedics celebrate 100 years of service in Northamptonshire
Frontline staff have been recognised for their dedication to the service
Frontline staff across Northamptonshire have been recognised for their long service.
At a ceremony in Delapre Abbey, Northamptonshire on Friday 27 June 2025 seven members of Frontline staff were recognised for their commitment to the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Sasha Tinston has dedicated 20 years of her life to help others:
"There has never been a day that I have put my uniform on and though 'oh no' I really don't want to go today. No matter how tired or what's going on in my family life, I've just felt pure pride and on the whole I have enjoyed every single shift."
Sasha added that it hasn't always been easy, but it's changed a lot over the years:
"We certainly have more opportunities as being a paramedic that's where it would end, but now we have specialist paramedics, access to advance practitioners so there is a lot more opportunities."
Other recipients included:
Sherin Rubenzer. Edward McLean, Anna McSharry, John Lynch & Sarah Gardner who have all been recognised for 10 years service each and Victoria Styles was thanked for 30 years of dedication to the role.
