Northamptonshire Police says it is investigating an assault at the roundabout junction for the A508 and Roade bypass.

The driver of a red Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision with the driver of a grey Ford Ranger, between 5:30pm and 5:50pm on Thursday evening (January 8).

Police say that then driver of the Ford Ranger then got out of his vehicle and assaulted the other driver, before getting back into his car and leaving the scene.

Police only have a limited description of the alleged offender, who they say is a white man between the ages of 30 and 40, with short brown hair.

Officers are appealing for anybody with relevant footage to contact Northamptonshire Police, whether it was taken prior to the collision or during the incident itself.
