Two seriously injured in Northampton crash

Two people are in hospital with serious injuries following a crash involving two cars in Northampton Town Centre.

Emergency services were called out to Horse Market shortly after midnight (6 March) following the collision involving a white Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Audi A4.

The passengers in the Vauxhall suffered serious injuries and were taken for medical treatment.

The driver of the Vauxhall, who had minor injuries, was also admitted to hospital.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash-cam footage to come forward.

Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are handling the case.
