Man repeatedly punched and hit with bicycle during assault in Corby

A man has been repeatedly punched and hit with a bicycle during an assault in Corby.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was attached at around 3pm on Monday (13 April) on Parkland Gateway. He was walking past the East Midlands International Pool towards Corby Boating Lake.

He suffered head and facial injuries.

Police describe the attacker as mixed race, early 30s, about 6ft 1in tall, slim, with a tanned complexion and short black hair.

Officers want to hear from anyone who saw the assault in this busy part of Corby town centre or who might have recorded it on a dash-cam or phone.
