Man dies after crash involving road sweeper near Towcester
A car and roadsweeper vehicle collided at Astcote on Thursday (16th July) around 11.15am.
A man in his 30s has died following a collision involving a car and a road sweeper truck on the A5 near Astcote.
The crash happened at around 11.15am yesterday (Thursday, 16th July) when the driver of the Mercedes was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage to aid their investigation.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are especially interested in images from the area between Bell Plantation Garden Centre and Foster's Booth junction between 11am and 11.20am on the day of the collision.
They say any information, no matter how minor it may seem, could be pivotal for their investigation
