Man charged with fraud and prostitution offences connected to Northamptonshire brothels

The 41-year-old faces seven charges.

A man has been charged with multiple offences following an investigation into the control of brothels in Northamptonshire.

Chang Xian Wu, 41, of Charminster Road, Bournemouth, is facing seven charges: two counts of fraud by false representation, controlling prostitution for gain, two counts of using a motor vehicle without insurance, and two counts of driving otherwise in accordance with a licence.

The charges stem from an inquiry into alleged brothel activities in Northamptonshire.

Wu is scheduled to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court today, 27th January.
