Man attacked with baseball bat in Northampton
A man was taken to hospital after being attacked with a baseball bat outside his home following a brick attack on the property
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Micklewell Lane, Northampton, on the morning of Tuesday, 6 May.
The incident happened between 7am and 9am when bricks were thrown through three windows of a residential property. After the occupant came outside to investigate, he was attacked with a baseball bat.
The offender then ran off in the direction of Great Gull Crescent.
The victim was taken to hospital for urgent treatment following the attack.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “We only have a very limited description of the offender, who was a black male, about 5ft 8in and of a stocky build.”
Officers are asking anyone who saw what happened, or who has any relevant CCTV, doorbell, or dash-cam footage, to come forward.
