Lights, camera, action.. at the Northampton Film Festival
It runs from March 7th to 15th
The event will be showcasing local films and films from around the country, particularly that fit the vibe of the town.
Director Becky Carrier tells us more:
"We have a range of venues showing movies this year and nine individual events at Delapre Abbey which includes an opening gala and welcome drinks on the Friday, March 7th.
"For International Women's Day the next day, March 8th, we have lots of screenings in store concentrating on the best works of women front and centre in the movies featured.
"Just the next day it's comedy, then a selection of two movies - one a drama, one a documentary. So, it just goes to prove the variety we have coming up.
"We're proud of the diversity we have on the line up."
Becky goes on to say that they're showing more films then ever at this year's event:
"There are 80 this year. We've had to turn some brilliant films put in unfortunately, but we're really pleased submissions are up.
"It's been a hard year for the industry. We're especially keen, though, to help those at the start of their movie making or trying something new."
Other venues involved in this year's festival are the University of Northampton, Northampton Filmhouse and the Guildhall.
