A provisional trial date has been set for the start of next year in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Khadeem Parris in Northampton.
Khadeem died from a stab wound following an incident at an address in Adnitt Road in the Abington area of the town on Tuesday, July 7.
The murder trial has been listed to start at Northampton Crown court from January 4, 2027, and is expected to last four weeks.
This follows yesterday’s (Monday, August 17) pre-trial and plea hearing at the county’s crown court, when Fuad Mohamud, aged 21, and Samrawi Soloman, aged 20, entered a plea of not guilty. Both men were remanded in custody.
Detectives investigating the death of Khadeem have also made three further arrests in connection with the murder inquiry.
Two men, aged 25 and 22, from Bedford, were arrested on August 12, and an 18-year-old from Newham, East London was apprehended on July 17, on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have been released on police conditional bail pending further inquiries along with a 19-year-old man, a 56-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman – all from Northampton – who were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
