Kettering families are invited to partake in the Easter Trail event until 11th April (excluding Sundays and bank holidays), designed to offer children a festive experience while alleviating financial pressure on parents.

Organised by Kettering Town Council, this initiative aims to ensure Easter enjoyment is accessible to all without any cost.

Participants can collect trail sheets from the library, embarking on a puzzle-solving adventure throughout the town. Upon completing the trail by cracking the code, children are rewarded with a free sweet treat, making Easter celebrations more fun and affordable.

Mayor Ben Jameson expressed the council’s commitment to inclusivity and community welfare: "The most important thing is to ensure all children can enjoy Easter without added financial pressure on parents.

''We organise events that allow families to partake without worrying about costs."

The Easter Trail connects families with local shops, encouraging exploration and community engagement. Jameson highlighted the benefit, stating, "It's not always great having to pay for everything; this way, we provide value and support those who might not always get opportunities."

Access to trail sheets and further details are available on Kettering Town Council'swebsite.
