Man fined for failing to comply with Community Protection Notice in Irthlingborough
Jason Sadler admits to eight breaches and receives restraining order
Jason Sadler, a 40-year-old from Grimmer Walk, Irthlingborough, has been fined at Northampton Magistrates’ Court for multiple breaches of his Community Protection Notice.
Sadler pleaded guilty last Monday, 20th July, to eight breaches occurring between 8th April and 26th May this year.
He was fined £635, alongside a victim surcharge of £224 and £85 in court costs.
Additionally, Sadler has been issued with a two-year restraining order to prevent further harassment of those affected by his behaviour.
PC Matt Bristow from the East Northants Policing Team said, “I am pleased that Jason Sadler pleaded guilty to the breaches and hope that he takes this opportunity to reflect on how his behaviour has negatively impacted his neighbours and wider community."
Community Protection Notices are enforced on individuals whose actions significantly affect others within the community.
Failure to comply with the notice's conditions can lead to arrest, prosecution, seizures, further enforcement, and fixed penalties.
PC Bristow highlighted the importance of a peaceful home life: "Everyone has the right to a peaceful home life and to enjoy where they live."
