Police are appealing for witnesses and potential victims following reports of inappropriate behaviour at Irchester Country Park.

Between 8:15am and 9:30am on 28 July, a man is alleged to have approached several lone women in the park, making inappropriate comments to at least one of them.

When confronted by park rangers, he reportedly became aggressive, leaving them fearing for their safety.

A 36-year-old man from Wellingborough has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.

Officers are urging anyone who may have been approached by a man or who witnessed suspicious or inappropriate behaviour in the park during the time frame to come forward and assist with the investigation.
