Man arrested after fire at Ibis Hotel in Crick

An investigations underway and several have been treated for smoke inhalation.

Emergency services responded to a fire at the Ibis Hotel (Rugby East) in Crick at around 6.20pm on Monday, 19th January.

The fire was contained to one room, and several people were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.

A scene guard remains in place as investigations continue today.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson with intent to endanger life. He is currently in police custody.

Police inquiries remain ongoing.
